FREE WEBINAR - ACPOHE: Covid -19 Return to Work Guidance
Tuesday 13th October 12pm - 1pm: FREE WEBINAR - ACPOHE: Covid -19 Return to Work Guidance
This webinar will give an overview of the guidance that has been developed by ACPOHE to assist all Physiotherapists and relevant healthcare professionals (HCPS’s) in supporting employees to rehabilitate and successfully return-to-work following COVID-19. It provides advice on how to have relevant work conversations with patients in all clinical settings and educates the reader on the specialist role OH Physiotherapy plays in functionally rehabilitating a patient with COVID-19 to return-to-work, following a biopsychosocial and occupational approach.
Key topics that will be covered include:
• Assessing job demands and function over video
• COVID-19 symptom considerations for return to work programs
• MSK physiotherapist scope of practice, signposting and resources
One priority of ACPOHE is to recommend minimum terms and conditions of employment of its members working in occupational health or ergonomics, be they working full or part-time.
ACPOHE also gives guidance to those members who are self employed. A review of this document is undertaken annually in conjunction with the CSP.
We hope that everyone is coping through these challenging times. Originally we were due to run a Study Day towards the end of the year in Cardiff. However, in light of the uncertainty around public gatherings and considering everyone's safety, the ACPOHE Committee have decided to cancel this.
In its place, the committee are working hard to set up a series of webinars that, we hope, will continue to meet the needs of our membership. It will, unfortunately, mean that the socialising/networking element is less feasible, but we hope to find an alternative in due course.

Dear ACPOHE Members,
Please could we encourage you to support the following audit. While our membership may not directly deliver community rehabilitation, we believe that the voice of our membership should still be heard. Click HERE for more details.
We are working closely with the CSP during these challenging times to understand how we can support both our direct ACPOHE members, the wider CSP member ship as well as our patients.
Could we please ask that you complete this short survey so that we can continue to support you and also inform the issues that our membership are experiencing to the CSP. Survey Link.
