University of Nottingham: Employer-stroke survivor toolkit PhD study

The University of Nottingham is inviting anyone in an occupational role involving staff responsibility to attend a workshop as part of their Employer-stroke survivor toolkit PhD study. Experience of stroke or the return-to-work process is not necessary.

The workshop is planned to take place on Microsoft Teams on:

  • Wednesday, 2nd August 2023, at 12:00-13:30 or 18:00-19:30 (time dependent on when the majority of workshop participants are available to attend).

Potential benefits to taking part in this particular workshop include:

  1. Learning more about what different individuals in organisations need when supporting stroke survivors to return to- and stay in work post-stroke.
  2. Opportunity to shape what the aim and objectives of the toolkit will be.

Expert advisory group members are also welcome to attend this workshop. Please email Kristelle Craven at Kristelle.Craven1@nottingham.ac.uk if you would like to take part. The second advisory group meeting for this project is planned for September.

Kristelle is also setting up a mailing list for those interested in other research investigating how people with illnesses and health conditions can be supported to return to- and stay in work. If you would like to be added to this mailing list, please let Kristelle know by email.
