NEW Vehicle Ergonomics ONLINE Course
This 2–3 hour independent online learning course includes provision of a new electronic Vehicle Assessment Form to assist you when undertaking these assessments. This is a highly practical course with plenty of top tips on how best undertake these assessments based on a systems approach to ergonomics.
It includes case-studies, videos and links to further resources.
Course Objectives
On completion of both modules delegates will be able to:
- Practically undertake an ergonomic vehicle assessment using a systems approach to ergonomics
- Understand the potential risks associated with vehicle use at work and make recommendations to eliminate or reduce these risks
- Examine a variety of vehicle types including cars, industrial vehicles, vans and fleet cars
NB: We recommend that you have prior experience of a systems approach to Ergonomics prior to attending this course, such as ACPOHE's Introduction to Applied Ergonomics.
Presenter
Kathy Roberts is a Registered Member of ACPOHE with 25 years’ experience in the field of Occupational Health and Ergonomics and will bring this course to life with case-studies and personal experience. She is an expert educator and is passionate about supporting physiotherapists to develop their skills and scope of practice in this area.
